Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service to our manufacturers and customers, and we are seeking a like-minded individual to join our ranks. **Job Summary** We are looking for a Data Entry & Processing Specialist to work approximately 15-20 hours per week, with the potential to increase hours as the position grows. This is a long-term, remote position that offers the flexibility and autonomy to work from home while still providing occasional in-person support at local functions. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. **Key Responsibilities** * Enter information into our database in real-time, including quote requests, new companies/contacts, incoming purchase-orders, and other relevant data * Keep information current by updating job titles, quote/shipment statuses, and other relevant details * Send emails and/or make phone calls to our manufacturers during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8-5 Eastern Time) * Provide occasional in-person support at local functions, such as bi-annual trade shows and site visits * Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless data entry and processing * Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy **Essential Qualifications** * 1-2 years of experience in data entry and processing, preferably in a manufacturing or sales environment * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with our team and manufacturers * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with CRM software and database management * Familiarity with manufacturing or sales processes and terminology * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements * Certification in data entry or a related field (e.g. Certified Data Entry Specialist) **Skills and Competencies** * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Effective communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word * Familiarity with CRM software and database management (desired) **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we are committed to providing opportunities for career growth and development.
