**Job Summary**

We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a remote work basis. As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our company's databases. You'll work closely with employees and customers to collect information, identify errors, and correct them in a timely and efficient manner. **Responsibilities**

As a Data Entry Clerk at careerzynith, your key responsibilities will include:

* Liaising with employees and customers to collect information and update our databases in a timely and accurate manner
* Identifying and correcting errors, and bringing them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary
* Gathering reports, personal details, documents, and information from employees, other departments, and clients
* Scanning through information to identify pertinent information and correcting errors
* Organizing information in a manner that optimizes swift and accurate capturing
* Creating accurate spreadsheets and entering information into relevant databases
* Ensuring data is backed up and stored in an organized manner for easy retrieval
* Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered
* Handling additional duties from time to time as required

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

* A high school diploma or equivalent
* At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field, such as data entry, administration, or customer service
* Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
* Strong knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel, with the ability to create accurate spreadsheets and reports
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and customers
* Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed
* Proficient touch typing skills, with a minimum speed of 40 words per minute
