As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for:
* Creating and managing spreadsheets to track customer information and orders
* Transferring data from paper documents to digital databases with accuracy and speed
* Updating customer information, verifying data, and making necessary changes to records
* Organizing existing data, performing regular database backups, and operating office equipment
* Inputting text-based and numerical information from source documents, and reviewing data for errors
* Assisting with special projects, providing data entry support across departments, and staying current with departmental policies
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Minimum 1 year's prior experience in customer service and/or data entry
* Proficiency in Microsoft Windows XP, Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Excellent communication and time management skills
* Ability to use databases, input data accurately and quickly, and work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong customer service skills, both oral and written
* Reliable high-speed internet connection (required for remote work)
