**Responsibilities**

As a Data Entry Clerk at careerzynith, you'll play a critical role in supporting our team's goals and enhancing organizational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:

* Entering and locating work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems with precision and accuracy.
* Transmitting information or documents using a computer, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
* Reading and visually verifying information in various formats for accuracy and completeness, with a keen eye for detail.
* Entering and retrieving information from computer databases to update records and answer inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses.
* Verifying information in documents or on computer screens for accuracy, maintaining the highest standards of quality and attention to detail.
* Operating standard office equipment such as telephones, fax machines, and photocopiers with ease and efficiency.
* Maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information and protecting company assets, upholding the highest standards of integrity and discretion.
* Preparing and reviewing written documents accurately and completely, ensuring clarity and precision.
* Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others, fostering a culture of collaboration and respect.
* Ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
* Identifying and recommending new ways to increase organizational efficiency and productivity, driving innovation and growth.
* Following all company safety and security policies and procedures, prioritizing the well-being and safety of our team members.

**Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

* The ability to enter and retrieve information accurately using a keyboard, mouse, or trackball, with a strong focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficiency in operating standard office equipment, including computers, printers, and other technology.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, with a keen eye for precision and quality.
* The ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, with a focus on maintaining a healthy and safe work environment.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate ideas and thoughts clearly and concisely.

**Nice-to-haves**

While not required, experience in a similar administrative role and familiarity with point of sale systems would be a significant advantage in this position.
