As a remote team member, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive community that values flexibility, work-life balance, and continuous learning. **Schedule and Work Environment** As a remote team member, you will enjoy the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home or office. Our flexible schedule allows you to work 34 hours per week, with hours between 8am and 4:30pm CST. This means you can create a schedule that suits your needs and preferences, while still meeting the demands of the role. **Responsibilities** As an Experienced Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, your primary responsibilities will include: * Accurately entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers * Entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests expediently and efficiently to meet client turnaround times * Navigating efficiently and effectively through the imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry * Differentiating between different claim types and following the appropriate data entry guidelines * Accurately identifying specific document types that require special handling * Collaborating with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times * Supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements **Additional Responsibilities** In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will also be expected to: * Perform quality review of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines * Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed * Alert management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies * Provide recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate **Qualifications** To be a successful candidate, you will need to possess: * A high school diploma or equivalent * At least 6 months or more years of experience in data entry or typing-focused roles * Strong data entry/typing skills * Excellent attention to detail * A high degree of accuracy **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate: * Strong organizational and time management skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines * Strong attention to detail and accuracy **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we are committed to providing opportunities for growth and development.
