**Job Summary**

We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team, where you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and supporting cloud-based data pipelines. As a Data Engineer, you'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that meet the needs of our business stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities**

* Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based data pipelines using technologies such as Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and Python
* Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop data solutions that meet their needs
* Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines, data sets, and data visualizations to support business decision-making
* Work with our DevOps team to ensure seamless integration with our cloud-based infrastructure
* Develop and maintain automated workflows and schedulers to ensure efficient data processing and delivery
* Collaborate with our data governance team to ensure data quality, security, and compliance
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for data engineering

**Essential Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
* 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
* Strong knowledge of Python and SQL, with experience working with Snowflake and PostgreSQL
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
* Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security
* Experience with source control systems, such as GitLab or GitHub
* Experience with containerization using Docker

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies
* Proficiency in cloud design and product development, ideally with AWS
* Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
* Experience with machine learning and data science frameworks, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
* Strong understanding of data architecture and data engineering principles
