**The Role**
We're seeking an experienced data engineer to join our Data Engineering team at careerzynith. As a data engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based data pipelines, ensuring that our data is accurate, reliable, and easily accessible to our stakeholders. You'll work closely with our data scientists, analysts, and product teams to identify business needs and develop innovative solutions that drive business growth and innovation.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based data pipelines using technologies such as Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and Python
* Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to identify business needs and develop innovative solutions
* Develop and maintain data sets, tables, and views to support business intelligence and analytics
* Create and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
* Develop and maintain automated workflows and schedulers to ensure data is processed and delivered on time
* Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data-related issues and improve data quality
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure careerzynith remains at the forefront of data innovation
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
* 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
* Proficient in Python and SQL, with experience working with Snowflake and PostgreSQL
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
* Experience with source control systems, such as GitLab or GitHub
* Experience with Docker and containerization
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies
* Proficient in cloud design and product development, with experience working with AWS
* Experience with automated workflows and schedulers
* Strong understanding of data modeling and data architecture
* Experience with data visualization tools and technologies
