As a key member of our Transportation Analytics crew, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our mission. **Job Summary** As an Experienced Data Analyst – Transportation Analytics, you will work closely with our cross-functional teams to analyze large, complex datasets and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions. You will develop and maintain data visualizations, create reports, and design dashboards to communicate key findings to stakeholders. Your expertise will help us identify trends, optimize operations, and drive business growth. **Responsibilities** * Work with large, messy, disparate datasets and perform ad-hoc analyses to inform business decisions * Develop ETLs or strategies to pull data from multiple sources and centralize it in a single table * Create data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges * Engage with cross-functional teams on a periodic basis and establish credibility by analyzing stakeholder needs and providing relevant information * Leverage scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate tasks for reporting (screenshots, metrics prioritization, and outlier recognition) * Document your approaches and share your expertise with colleagues, mentoring them as you become a Subject Matter Expert **Key Qualifications** * Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to govern data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity (2-4 years of experience) * Creativity with a User Experience basis to enhance impactful Tableau Dashboards (1-2 years of experience) * Business Operations Fluency, with the ability to recognize and root out business problems (Supply Chain background, ideally with transportation experience) * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally **Preferred Qualifications** * Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau * Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations * Experience with Python or other scripting languages * Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc. **Benefits** As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including: * Competitive salary and bonus structure * Incentive awards for performance * 401(k) match * Inventory buy plan * Paid maternity and parental leave * PTO * Multiple fitness plans * And many more! **Work Environment and Company Culture** At blithequark, we pride ourselves on our collaborative, dynamic work environment.
