Key Responsibilities Collaborate with business and product partners to identify trends and opportunities, and solve complex business problems Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and data visualization to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions Define and evaluate key performance metrics for new product launches, and develop data visualizations to monitor and measure the impact of product initiatives Conduct exploratory data analysis, including hypothesis testing, statistical inference, and statistical analysis Work with data stewards and data engineering teams to gather and process data from various sources Communicate complex data insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders, and build strong relationships with business partners Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics Strong exploratory data analysis skills, with the ability to make logical, data-driven recommendations and solutions Experience with languages used to manipulate data and extract insights from large datasets, such as SQL, Python, and Presto Strong storytelling skills, with experience using data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Looker Experience with data quality tools, such as Google DataPlex, Collibra Data Quality, or SAS Data Management Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experiences will be considered a plus: Experience with quality testing using Selenium, Cucumber, or Tosca Experience in building multi-step ETL jobs/data pipelines, and working with job scheduling frameworks Experience processing complex data on cloud platforms, such as Google BigQuery and Hive Experience working on Data Modeling (E-R) and having strong BI concepts Basic understanding of machine learning models and statistical concepts Prior experience in the retail or financial services industries Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive business outcomes through data insights Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with business partners Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with shifting priorities and deadlines Strong technical skills, with the ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits As a Data Analyst II at Walmart, you will have opportunities to grow and develop your skills in a dynamic and innovative environment.
