Key Responsibilities
Work with large, complex datasets to conduct ad-hoc analyses and inform critical business decisions
Develop ETLs and processes to pull data from multiple sources and centralize it in a single table
Create data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges
Engage with team members and cross-functional groups to establish credibility and share relevant information
Analyze stakeholder needs and partner with them to address data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems
Leverage scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate tasks and improve reporting efficiency
Document processes and share expertise with colleagues, mentoring them as you become a Subject Matter Expert
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to manipulate data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity (2-4 years of experience)
Creativity with a User Experience basis to develop impactful Tableau dashboards (1-2 years of experience)
Business Operations Fluency, with the ability to understand and root cause business problems, ideally with a Supply Chain background and transportation experience
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Business Administration
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau
Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations
Experience with Python or other scripting languages
Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc.
