Job Overview
The Data Analyst will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze data trends, develop predictive models, and create data visualizations to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Aid in the development and implementation of creative data visualization techniques to communicate complex data insights to various audience levels
Collaborate with accounting teams and contracting to identify and isolate fluctuations resulting from over/under payment practices and incorporate these into actual-to-expected results
Develop and maintain automated processes to identify data and process integrity issues, providing detailed recommendations for issue resolution
Support the development of convenient, creative, objective analysis that leads to fact-based solutions for key business issues
Prepare standard and ad-hoc management reports and presentations for projects, utilizing query-based tools to create and run queries for data mining and analysis
Perform specific tasks identified in the compliance monitoring system, including assessment of definitions, cost increase maintenance, and organization ID
Provide customer support to internal and external clients, ensuring quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction
Work collaboratively with peers in Sales, Finance, Regulatory, Contract Development, and Contract Operations


Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Experience collaborating with internal and external resources to aid in the development of procedures and project designs that meet division objectives within budget and established timelines
Experience establishing and maintaining key relationships with internal (peers, colleagues, and leadership) and external (business community, clients, and vendors) stakeholders within a matrix organization to ensure quality standards for service
Experience creating approaches to achieve objectives with minimal oversight, relying on oneself to resolve issues and ensure completed goals
Experience utilizing time management skills, such as prioritizing/coordinating and following details, and meeting deadlines for multiple projects with varying completion dates
Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve issues
Experience with analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions for driving improvement of results and finding solutions
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state)


Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:

Graduate degree
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
Knowledge of advanced coding languages (e.g., SAS, SQL, C++, etc.)
Experience with system administration (e.g., Masters, Vendavo, Vistaar, Salesforce.com, SharePoint, Wikis, etc.)
Experience with business intelligence tools in support of data analysis (e.g., Business Objects, Cognos, Tableau, Masters, etc.)
Experience with learn instructing, coaching, and training staff
Knowledge of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Benefit Manager, Benefit Consultancy, or Managed Care organization
Experience working with pharmacy data at a retail pharmacy, Pharmacy Benefit Manager, benefit consultancy, or managed care organization
Knowledge of drug industry pricing
Experience with project management (e.g., planning, coordinating, and managing resources to achieve the successful completion of specific project objectives and goals)
Knowledge of systems like Cure and GIS
Experience with data extraction, data mining, data acquisition, data profiling, and data warehouse management
Experience in a data warehouse/business intelligence/decision support systems environment or IT experience
Knowledge of statistical concepts and data mining techniques
