**Job Summary**
As a Data Analyst and Online Chat Assistant at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in developing and sustaining our data management systems, providing departmental insights on efficiency, and creating data visualizations to inform business decisions. You'll work closely with our technology team to meet departmental demands and ensure data integrity and accessibility.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Develop and maintain data pipelines to support business procedures and data-driven decision making
* Create and manage dashboards on Power BI and Excel to provide actionable insights
* Develop and enforce data quality standards and management to ensure data integrity and accessibility
* Collaborate with monitoring and business analysts to understand business needs, maintain complete records, and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting requirements
* Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and data architecture
* Utilize data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI
* Help automate existing business processes and improve exception-based reporting
* Partner with IT and business stakeholders to discover, analyze, and obtain new data variables (data mining)
* Evaluate large datasets to identify relevant patterns and provide actionable results
* Validate data for formality by verifying against requirements
* Research data errors and remediate poor data
* Participate in the Data Governance program by updating the data dictionary and plan & methods
* Examine and validate metrics to ensure effectiveness and provide recommendations to team leaders on areas that require attention
**Essential Qualifications**
* 2+ years of experience performing comprehensive data analysis
* Strong experience working with Power BI, including:
+ Working with different data objects like Dimensions, Solutions, Filters, Computed Fields, measures, parameters, conditional formatting, DAX queries, Interactions, etc.
+ Knowledge of DAX, SQL, M Code
* Proficient in SQL, with the ability to write complex SQL queries to create files and analytics
* Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations
* Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other procedures
* Problem-solving skills with statistical analysis and large data sets highly preferred
* Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query
* Experience with Smartsheets
