Job Summary
As a Customs Trade Coordinator at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth clearance of international shipments. Your primary responsibilities will include providing excellent customer service, preparing and processing import-related documentation, and maintaining accurate records. You will work closely with internal staff, clients, and government agencies to deliver a high level of service and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities

Provide impeccable customer service to clients and respond to their inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Retrieve and verify the correct arrangement of products for customs clearance from databases, SOPs, duty books, the web, or customs
Perform data entry and processing of various import-related documentation for submission to US Customs and may handle all PGA's (participating Government Agencies)
Maintain and update all shipment documentation in compliance with all record-keeping requirements
Comply with all international importing and exporting regulations
Collaborate with other internal staff, departments, and clients to deliver an elevated level of service
Process company financier shipments
May handle remote filings
Ensure all service and organizational policies are followed


Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

A high school certificate or GED
No industry experience is required, but a minimum of six months of work experience is preferred
Data entry/console experience is required
Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and office equipment (telephone, fax, scanner, printer, copier)
Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
Organizational skills, time management skills, and the ability to handle a high volume of work
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision


Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable:

A bachelor's degree in a related field
Previous experience in a customs brokerage or logistics environment
Knowledge of import and export regulations
Experience with remote data entry and documentation processing
