Job Overview As a Customer Service Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service in every customer interaction. Your daily activities will include fielding inquiries, addressing pain points, and performing presentations to members of unions that request our benefits. You will also be involved in inbound and outbound calling, setting appointments, and completing necessary paperwork. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer-first mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. Key Responsibilities: Drive customer satisfaction by responding to customer inquiries and addressing pain points in a timely and professional manner Maintain extensive product knowledge to provide accurate and helpful information to clients Conduct inbound and outbound calls to engage with customers, set appointments, and perform presentations Complete necessary paperwork and ensure quality control in all aspects of work Participate in leadership development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and resolve any issues that may arise Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously 18+ years of age Must pass a background check High school diploma (higher education preferred but not required) Customer service and/or retail experience preferred but not required Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a remote or call center environment Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in using software applications Experience working with unions or associations Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong customer service skills, with a customer-first approach Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with minimal supervision Effective time management and organizational skills Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in using software applications Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
