As a Customer Service Specialist II, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers and the Animal Services - Pet Services team. Your key responsibilities will include:
ā¢ Providing advanced clerical support, including operation of a personal computer and public contact work
ā¢ Delivering professional and courteous responses to customer inquiries regarding various County operations
ā¢ Performing customer service functions in support of the Animal Services - Pet Services team
ā¢ Answering telephone calls, typing letters and reports, maintaining records, and performing data entry
ā¢ Utilizing software applications to retrieve and enter data
ā¢ Performing other clerical functions, such as processing mail, filing, and scanning
ā¢ *Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
ā¢ A high school diploma or equivalent required; one (1) year of experience in customer service duties involving frequent public contact
ā¢ Proficient in operating a personal computer and related software
ā¢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ā¢ Ability to maintain records, prepare reports, and understand oral and written instructions
ā¢ Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
ā¢ Valid Florida driver's license required
