About the Role In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work with student borrowers, providing them with expert guidance and support to answer their questions and resolve any issues they may be facing. As a Customer Service Representative (Student Loan Advisor), you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, and you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences that exceed their expectations. After 90 days of successful performance, you will have the opportunity to work from home, providing you with the flexibility and autonomy to manage your work-life balance. Key Responsibilities Respond to incoming calls, chats, and emails from customers, providing them with accurate and timely information and support Utilize standard technology such as telephones, email, and web browsers to communicate with customers and access relevant information Navigate to pre-scripted responses to provide basic general and claims-specific information to customers Follow established policies and procedures, including working within various systems, timekeeping, documentation, and adhering to ethics and privacy rules Assist customers with filling out applications and submitting them electronically for processing Complete basic call logs, documentation, and related call details for each phone inquiry Schedule and Work Environment The schedule for this role is as follows: Monday: 11:45am-8:15pm Tuesday: 10:45am-7:15pm Wednesday: 10:45am-7:15pm Thursday: 8:45am-5:15pm Friday: 8:45am-5:15pm This is an in-center position, with the possibility of working from home after 90 days, provided you meet the required performance, attendance, and compliance standards. Requirements and Preferred Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to speak and read English clearly, professionally, and fluently Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute Experience working with personal computers and the Windows operating system Ability to effectively work within established key performance indicators and metrics Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and leadership skills Ability to multi-task and stay organized while completing simultaneous tasks Preferred skills include: Knowledge of contact center technology Strong computer skills with proficiencies in Excel and Word Excellent command of the English language, with effective use of grammar skills Excellent communication etiquette What We Offer At arenaflex, we offer a competitive compensation package, including: Competitive pay Sick time accrual starting immediately after training completion Special event days throughout the year $25,000 life insurance paid for by arenaflex Paid holidays starting from day one of employment (subject to meeting certain criteria) We also offer opportunities for career growth and development, as well as a supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
