**Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative on our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team, you will be responsible for:
* Providing telephone support to patients, verifying and resolving benefits, and processing new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system.
* Communicating with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues.
* Utilizing superb communication skills to interact with patients, insurance companies, and internal partners, ensuring timely processing of specialty medications and meeting financial and clinical expectations.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
### Essential Qualifications
* 1+ year of experience in a customer service role handling complex customer needs over the phone.
* 1+ year of experience with Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications.
* 1+ year of computer keyboarding experience.
* Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent.
### Preferred Qualifications
* 6+ months of experience resolving complex customer needs over the phone.
* Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology.
**Schedule and Benefits**
As a Customer Service Representative on our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team, you can expect:
* Monday - Friday, 11 AM - 7:30 PM EST.
* Competitive salary: $22.00 - $36.00 per hour.
