As a Customer Service Representative at Blithequark, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service, resolving their queries, and providing timely solutions. Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Representative at Blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include: Responding to incoming calls, emails, and other customer inquiries, providing accurate and timely information regarding payment or policy status, correspondence, and other related queries. Assisting customers with various requests, including: New business: quotation and payment status Renewals: payment and issuance status Endorsements: processing status and evidence of insurance requests Inspections, deficiency letters, cancellations, and non-renewals CEA: payment, policy, and quotation status Performing daily assigned tasks with a primary emphasis on call center activities. Researching and resolving customer or broker questions and problems in a timely and efficient manner. Handling agency licensing tasks, such as: Registering new brokers Address changes Agency mergers Following up with other departments to resolve problem files and ensuring seamless communication. Inputting data into a desktop database for all incoming calls and maintaining accurate records. Assisting customers at the front desk when necessary and providing exceptional support. Distributing faxes and other correspondence to the relevant department. Facilitating the processing of evidence of insurance requests as required. Participating in individual and group training designed to improve service and stay up-to-date with industry developments. Performing additional duties or special projects as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful as a Customer Service Representative at Blithequark, you'll need: Essential Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills and proficiency in using software applications. 1 year of experience in insurance, customer service, or a related field. Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on phone skills and the ability to provide clear, concise information. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment and build rapport with customers and colleagues. The ability to perform moderately complex tasks and exercise sound decision-making skills. The capacity to work with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively. Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills. Experience working in a call center environment. Knowledge of insurance industry products and services.
