As a global organization, we value diversity, inclusion, and collaboration, and we are proud to be a leader in the healthcare industry. **The Opportunity** As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – Remote Healthcare Support, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support to our members, addressing their healthcare-related inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner. You will work closely with our team to resolve complex issues, schedule appointments, and coordinate referrals, all while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. This is a full-time remote position, and you will be required to work a variety of 8-hour shifts between 6:30am and 5:30pm PST, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturday coverage as needed. **Primary Responsibilities** * Answer inbound phone calls and provide a high-quality patient/caller experience * Review patient liability questions and concerns * Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments * Perform referral coordination, including completing Open Referrals and/or referral tracking queue * Work all assigned work timely according to department standards and document all actions in the system * Register new patients, verify patient demographics and health insurance, and update patient information in designated databases * Respond to general information requests and/or inquiries from patients, physicians, medical offices, and other callers * Communicate effectively and in a professional manner * Process all work-related responsibilities in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner * Other duties as assigned **Required Qualifications** * High School Diploma / GED * Must be 18 years of age or older * 1+ years of experience in a call center answering customer service inquiries regarding healthcare * Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications * Ability to work any 8-hour work shift between 6:30am and 5:30pm PST, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturday coverage as needed **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous experience using EPIC **Soft Skills** * Time Management * Attention to Detail * Empathy * All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to blithequark's Telecommuter Policy **Telecommuting Requirements** * Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas, free from noise and distractions, and provides information privacy * Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure (if applicable) * Must live in a location that can receive a blithequark-approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service **Compensation and Benefits** * Hourly range: $16.00 to $28.27 per hour (dependent on location, education, work experience, and other factors) * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage * Incentive and recognition programs * Equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (subject to eligibility requirements) **Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion** At blithequark, we are committed to creating a workplace that is inclusive, diverse, and equitable.
