**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide expert technical support to the general public, assisting with the planning and development process related to building permits
* Respond to customer inquiries, resolve complex issues, and provide guidance on building codes and regulations
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and efficient service delivery
* Develop and maintain knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry best practices
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments
* Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with careerzynith policies and procedures
* Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all clients
**Essential Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent, plus three (3) years of direct customer service experience
* Successful completion of all classes for any one (1) phase of the careerzynith Employee Development Program and a passing score of 70% or higher on the phase examination within twelve (12) months of employment
* One (1) year of experience as a Customer Service Representative I at careerzynith, plus successful completion of all classes for any one (1) phase of the Employee Development Program and a passing score of 70% or higher on the phase examination, with a current performance evaluation score of 4.0 or higher
* Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis
* Experience in a construction environment, building department, or permitting and development is preferred
* Successful completion of college coursework in a construction field is preferred
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Active Florida Notary Public certification, with the ability to obtain certification within six (6) months of employment
* Experience working in a government agency or public sector organization
* Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry best practices
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
**Physical Requirements:**
* The employee must be able to:

* In an eight-hour day, the employee may have to:
