About the Position This is a 6-month contract position, offering a competitive pay rate of $19.50 per hour. As a remote employee, you will be required to work from 8am to 5pm EST, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities Assist in resolving missed visits or missed supplies by reaching out to providers for status updates and authorizations as needed Respond to all Long-Term Care (LTC) calls from members and providers, focusing on one-call resolution and timely responses Review and correct authorizations to ensure they match the Primary Care Case Plan (PCCP) Triage and route calls correctly, attempting to resolve issues before escalating them to a supervisor or other team members Performance Expectations To be successful in this role, you will be expected to meet or exceed the following performance metrics: Call Center metrics: Talk time, Hold, Aftercall, and Schedule Adherence scores of 95% or above Call Quality scores of 95% or above Qualifications and Skills To be considered for this position, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: 2-3 years of experience in a managed care or physician's office setting Call Center experience is required, with a strong focus on customer service Medical terminology knowledge is essential Proficient typing skills and experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Windows Experience with Long-Term Care (LTC) and Medical Authorization is highly desirable High School Diploma or equivalent is required Essential Skills and Competencies In addition to the above qualifications, the ideal candidate will possess: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Compassion and empathy for members and providers Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a busy environment Career Growth and Learning Opportunities At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
