They are seeking a Senior Product Manager to build Ting Data Products into a scaled product line, focusing on strategy, customer relationships, and product delivery.ResponsibilitiesSet the North Star direction for Ting Data Products and the strategy to realize the vision in concert with company leadershipBe the in-house expert on grid data needs β what grid teams use today and what they would use if they could get it. Run discovery, build durable feedback loops, and translate insight into the product roadmapDefine a focused set of data products β APIs, files, dashboards, alerts β built on common foundations that serve many customers. Decide what to build, what to package, and how customers will integrateDefine and ship the roadmap to make progress towards the vision. Partner with design and engineering to shape the scope of each release and ensure a high-quality customer experience. Measure customer and business impact after each releaseShape positioning, messaging, pricing and packaging, sales enablement, and launch plans. Be the productβs authority in sales conversations and customer demosBuild the roadmapping, prioritization, and release-planning practices this product line needs as it scalesUse modern AI tools fluently across research, prototyping, writing, and analysis β at the pace senior PMs are now expected to workSkills8+ years of product management experience, primarily in B2B3+ years building data products β APIs, real-time feeds, structured datasets, or other customer-facing data offeringsStrong understanding of how data buyers consume third-party data β what teams need from a data product they can rely on day-to-dayEngineering background strongly preferred β you can sketch an API, reason about pipeline tradeoffs, and hold your own in architecture conversationsAn appetite to go deep on the underlying domain: electrical telemetry and grid operationsExcellent communication, presentation skills, and executive presenceComfortable carrying both technical and business conversations in customer settings, from utility engineers to utility VPsTrack record of translating ambiguous customer needs into repeatable product requirements that serve multiple buyersStrong instinct for pricing, packaging, and what makes a B2B data product commercially viable3+ years in a growth-stage startup environment β you're at home with ambiguity, pace, and the swings of building something newAI-native operator.
