Job Summary As a Customer Service Representative - Data Entry Specialist at blithequark , you will be responsible for performing data entry tasks, handling customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This is a full-time remote role, offering the flexibility and autonomy to work from home while still being an integral part of our team. Key Responsibilities Utilize blithequark 's data entry techniques and guidelines to process new patient enrollment by entering data into the appropriate system. Handle patient prescription requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing. Research and obtain missing prescription information, and interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes). Resolve all data entry-related exceptions, including communicating with patients, prescribers, and insurance companies as needed. Provide support to pharmacists, both in-office and in other locations, and identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate. Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, emails) and resolve outbound calls to prescribers and patients as necessary. Settle third-party rejects by investigating, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual claim requirements. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Basic level PC skills, including launching and shutting down PC, using the mouse to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between programs, saving files, printing reports, and/or accessing information online. Basic web navigation skills, including opening a browser, typing URLs in the correct location, using a search engine, bookmarking a webpage, navigating back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online. Intermediate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents). Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. 18 years old or older. Preferred Qualifications At least one year of pharmacy professional experience in a retail or call center environment. At least one and a half years of experience as a pharmacy professional with a certification/enrollment by the state as granted by the state Board of Pharmacy or widely recognized certification organization. Experience providing customer care to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction. Mid-to-advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents). Proficiency in both Spanish and English.
