Position Overview

The Customer Service Representative at careerzynith serves as the primary point of contact for our valued customer base. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for comprehensive account management, proactive selling activities, sales goal achievement, brand building, and seamless transaction handling. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing order status inquiries, processing claims, tracking shipments, uploading artwork, and resolving complex customer issues with speed, accuracy, and professionalism.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, as you will handle everything from basic order entries to moderately complex functions of order management. Beyond serving your own portfolio of customers, you will also provide essential support to colleagues and assist other team members in delivering outstanding service across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Selling and Customer Support Activities

Achieve individual sales goals and customer service metrics while contributing to overall team success
Manage all incoming and outgoing customer interactions in a professional, timely, and appropriate manner across phone, email, and chat channels
Respond to customer inquiries, requests for information, and issue resolutions within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Proactively reach out to assigned customers to identify additional sales opportunities and revenue growth potential
Probe for add-on and solution-selling opportunities during every customer engagement conversation
Recognize, route, and document proactive sales opportunities by escalating to management or entering opportunity details into designated tools
Follow up diligently on product backorders, supply chain delays, and complex order management situations
Configure product components to identify and clarify the best solutions for customer needs, ranging from basic to complex requirements
Complete outbound calls and email communications to new and existing customers regarding company initiatives, including standard outcall campaigns, event recruitment, and vendor lead follow-up
Advise and recommend product options, add-ons, and tailored solutions that best suit customer needs and those of their end users
Maintain comprehensive product and vendor knowledge to fulfill customer requests effectively and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities
Cultivate and maintain positive, long-lasting relationships with customers, consultants, and key stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and reinforce our best-in-class reputation
Manage relationships with designated contacts such as purchasing agents to drive sales growth and maintain strong business partnerships
Provide accurate pricing and availability information within established company guidelines
Submit, track, and escalate customer quotes and orders as needed
Resolve or properly route credit-related issues to appropriate team members
Effectively investigate, escalate, and resolve customer complaints and service issues to ensure complete satisfaction


Order Management and Customer Service Activities

Perform all transactions with exceptional accuracy while consistently meeting departmental SLAs
Enter customer orders into the system based on individual order characteristic requirements, processing orders received via email, chat, telephone, and other relevant channels
Audit orders meticulously for completion and accuracy before final processing
Process claims, coordinate redo and replacement orders, and issue in-store credits as appropriate


Training and Professional Development

Attend all required training courses and demonstrate mastery of materials through active participation
Complete Customer Service training programs and achieve passing marks on all assessments
Successfully complete self-paced training modules and monthly learning checks in a timely manner


Miscellaneous and Administrative Activities

Update and maintain accurate customer profiles in the Admin Panel, Microsoft Dynamics, and other relevant tools
Provide administrative support to the Customer Service Team as assigned
Perform additional duties and special projects as designated by Management


Essential Qualifications

To succeed as a Customer Service Representative at careerzynith, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of previous sales or customer service experience, preferably within a related industry
Customer Service Expertise: Demonstrated experience as a customer service professional with effective telephone, chat, and email communication techniques
Communication Skills: Proficiency in verbal and written communication, including strong spelling, grammar, and proper use of the English language


Technical Skills and Competencies

Computing Proficiency: Solid personal computing and keyboarding/data entry skills
Microsoft Excel: Moderate knowledge of Excel is required for tracking, reporting, and data management
Communication Excellence: Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities are essential
Organizational Strength: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Sales Acumen: Basic sales and negotiation skills with a willingness to develop these capabilities further
