Our team of dedicated professionals is passionate about making a positive impact in our communities, and we are seeking like-minded individuals to join our team. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences that meet and exceed our customers' expectations. Your key responsibilities will include: * Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services * Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience * Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience * Providing customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service * Recommending items for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or companion items * Registering customer purchases on assigned cash register, collecting cash and distributing change as requested * Processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed * Keeping counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining records * Checking in and pricing merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader * Implementing Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss * Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products) * Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise * Completing resets and revisions as directed * Assisting with separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as specified by policies/procedures * Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products * Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance * Complying with all company policies and procedures; maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers * Completing special assignments and other tasks as assigned **Essential Qualifications** * Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) * Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours **Preferred Qualifications** * Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment * Prefer to have prior work experience with arenaflex **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time * Basic computer skills and knowledge of store systems and equipment **Training & Personal Development** * Attends training and completes PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate * Opportunities for career growth and advancement within the company * Access to ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge **Work Environment & Company Culture** * arenaflex is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes diversity in the workplace * We offer a supportive and inclusive work environment that values teamwork and collaboration * Opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and innovative company * Competitive compensation and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off **Compensation & Benefits** * Salary range: $15.5 - $17.5 per hour * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off * Opportunities for career growth and advancement within the company * Access to ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge **How to Apply** If you are a motivated and customer-focused individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity at arenaflex.
