Our team is made up of talented and dedicated individuals who share our passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive shopping experience. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Associate I, you'll be responsible for: * Assisting customers with questions and recommendations to ensure they find the products they need * Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register to provide a seamless checkout experience * Maintaining the security of cash and protecting company assets to prevent loss and ensure a safe working environment * Keeping the store well-stocked and recovering merchandise to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers * Receiving merchandise and helping with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards * Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders * Maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable * Performing other duties as assigned by your supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of the store **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A high school diploma or equivalent * Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment (highly preferred) * Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents * Physical ability to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting * Excellent customer service and relationship management skills * Strong organizational and communication skills * Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, we prefer candidates with: * Previous experience working in a fast-paced retail environment * Knowledge of retail operations and procedures * Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays **Perks and Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to supporting the health, wealth, and mental well-being of our associates.
