**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service and Sales Associate at careerzynith, you will be responsible for providing fast, friendly service to our customers, assessing their needs, and providing assistance to drive sales growth. You will work closely with our Department Supervisors and other associates to maintain a safe, clean, and shoppable environment, and ensure that our customers have an exceptional shopping experience.

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences
* Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including features, benefits, and related items to sell
* Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department, and handle basics in adjacent departments
* Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring a clean, shoppable, and safe environment
* Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager On Duty
* Work in cooperation with Department Supervisors and other associates to achieve sales goals and customer satisfaction targets
* Participate in sales promotions, events, and training programs to stay up-to-date on products and services
* Collaborate with other departments to provide a seamless shopping experience for our customers
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
* 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience in a retail or building materials environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
* Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
* Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
