You'll be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improve customer experiences. **Key Responsibilities** As a data scientist at arenaflex, you'll have the following key responsibilities: * Collaborate with scientists, software engineers, and business leaders to define business processes and provide data-driven insights * Influence code to investigate complex datasets and develop, create, and assess data transformations to address specific business issues * Build adaptable, efficient, and automated data pipelines to support client-facing reporting * Automate TA cycles to streamline business activities * Communicate verbally or in writing to business clients/leaders to share insights and recommendations **Essential Capabilities** To be successful in this role, you'll need to have the following essential capabilities: * Four-year degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analysis, finance, economics, engineering, or computer science * 3 years of experience with data querying languages (e.g. SQL), pre-processing languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/numerical programming (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab, etc.) * 3 years of experience with AI/factual modeling data analysis tools and techniques, and boundaries that influence their performance * Experience applying theoretical models in an applied context **Favored Capabilities** While not required, the following favored capabilities will make you a strong candidate for this role: * Graduate degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analysis, finance, economics, engineering, or computer science * Experience in a ML or data scientist role with a large technology organization **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you'll need to have the following skills and competencies: * Strong understanding of data science concepts and techniques * Experience with data querying languages (e.g. SQL), pre-processing languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/numerical programming (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab, etc.) * Experience with AI/factual modeling data analysis tools and techniques * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and presentation skills * Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams * Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
