**The Role**
As a Customer Alarm Monitoring Agent, you'll be responsible for:
* Responding to alarm signals from customers' alarm systems
* Dispatching emergency signals to police, fire, and medical agencies
* Providing world-class customer service to customers in their time of need
* Notifying customers of non-emergency signals
* Notifying account contacts of emergency signals after dispatch
* Receiving and processing inbound calls requesting information
**Key Responsibilities**
* Monitor alarm signals from customers' alarm systems and respond accordingly
* Dispatch emergency signals to relevant agencies, ensuring timely and effective response
* Provide exceptional customer service, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a professional and empathetic manner
* Maintain accurate records of alarm signals, dispatches, and customer interactions
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and effective resolution of customer issues
**Requirements**
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute
* Must be able to pass an FBI criminal background check to obtain a Burglar Alarm License in all 50 states
* One year of customer service experience preferred, but not required
**Nice-to-Haves**
* Bilingual Spanish/English speakers (additional $1.00 per hour)
