**Job Summary**
As a Customer Advocate I, you'll work under supervision in a fast-paced call center environment, assisting members and physicians with their inquiries. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Responding to telephone and written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner
* Conducting research to resolve member and physician inquiries
* Spending approximately 85% of the scheduled time on the phone, according to business needs
* Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve member satisfaction
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Respond to telephone and written inquiries from members and physicians in a timely and professional manner
* Conduct research to resolve member and physician inquiries, utilizing various resources and databases
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve member satisfaction
* Spend approximately 85% of the scheduled time on the phone, according to business needs
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of member interactions and inquiries
* Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills
* Adhere to careerzynith policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
**Essential Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent
* 6 months of customer service experience or 6 months of experience in an office environment
* Data entry and/or typing experience
* Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
* Analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to make independent decisions
* Ability to spend approximately 90% of the scheduled time on the phone, according to business needs, and sit for long periods with scheduled breaks
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* 9 months of customer service experience
* Experience working with various lines of business, including CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management
* Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
* Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
* Referral preference given to applicants able to take and meet testing criteria
