Job Overview
The Customer Advocate position at arenaflex is responsible for researching and responding to written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner. This role requires a strong foundation in customer service, data entry, and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and make informed decisions. As a Customer Advocate, you will be the primary point of contact for providers and clients, ensuring that their queries are addressed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to written inquiries from providers and clients in a timely and professional manner, ensuring accuracy and objectivity in all communications.
Conduct research to resolve complex issues and provide detailed responses to customers, leveraging knowledge of healthcare and health insurance practices.
Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail, utilizing Microsoft Suite and other software applications.
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of arenaflex's products, services, and policies, as well as industry trends and developments.
Collaborate with internal teams, including provider network contracting, credentialing, and servicing, to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.


Essential Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 3 years of experience in provider network contracting, credentialing, or servicing in a healthcare or health insurance environment.
Proven experience in data entry and/or typing, with strong analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Basic computer skills, including navigation, toggling, and general computer literacy.
Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.


Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as healthcare administration, business, or communications.
5 years of experience in provider network contracting, credentialing, or servicing, with a strong understanding of healthcare and health insurance practices.
6 months of data entry experience in an office environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a customer-facing role.
Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technology applications.
