**Experienced Clinical Data Entry Specialist – Patient Care and Pharmacy Operations**

**Job Summary:**

The Experienced Clinical Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for executing medical services methodologies, driving patient well-being results, and ensuring consistency of clinical pharmacy services. This role will also involve executing against distinguished partner established pharmacy programs, driving pharmacy financial performance, and cultivating strong relationships with clinical networks in designated regions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Execute direct patient care programs, including but not limited to, Drug Treatment Management programs, Vaccination Services, and Payer and Pharma Adherence and Clinical Projects.
* Drive the execution of various strategies and tasks to ensure business needs are being met.
* Drive consistency and continuous quality improvement in the delivery of clinical pharmacy patient care and services by analyzing, assessing, and re-planning processes; monitoring and examining results; and implementing changes.
* Ensure regional pharmacies comply with regulatory compliance, standard operating systems, and FDA guidelines.
* Drive local pharmacy financial performance by adjusting business systems to the organization's financial objectives.
* Execute and implement patient intervention pharmacy projects to boost financial performance.
* Uphold efforts to improve the patient experience by expanding the focus on healthcare services (e.g., patient conferences, medication administration, drug treatment audits, and retail, clinical, or wellness services, vaccinations, disease state management, and Specialty programs).
* Provide expertise, resources, education, and support to pharmacists and field initiatives.
* Uphold staff training experiences and advancement opportunities.
* Advance collaboration and inspire pharmacy staff by cultivating a shared vision and supporting organizational strategies, systems, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
* Conduct data and clinical audits and make vital decisions to ensure the accuracy and propriety of medications.
* Review patient records and profiles to ensure proper and safe medication treatment.
* Provide individualized patient/provider discussion.
* Through the use of exceptional interpersonal skills, win the trust of patients by listening to their concerns and providing a sounding board for pharmacy concerns.
* Provide feedback concerning the effectiveness of the Client Maintenance Program, including comments from patients as the value of individual consultations.
* Be accountable for all inquiries, discussions, and responses that relate directly to patient treatment.
* Provide clinical advice and information to patients, physicians, and insurance plans as necessary.
* Perform other work consistent with the job duties in this record as allocated by management.
* Observe rules and procedures for all job duties to meet objectives.
* Comply with organizational policies and procedures, including all HIPAA rules/guidelines.
* Ensure compliance with government, state, and local pharmacy regulations.

**Essential Capabilities:**

* Current pharmacist license as granted by the relevant state licensing authority.
* Experience motivating colleagues to research and resolve issues.
* Experience working with confidential information.
* Ability to work non-standard hours, which may include nights, holidays, and weekends.
* Experience utilizing time management skills, such as prioritizing/scheduling and tracking details and meeting time constraints of various tasks with fluctuating completion dates.
* Experience creating ways to achieve objectives with minimal supervision, relying on oneself to complete goals and determining when escalating issues.
* Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
* Ability to travel up to 10% of the ideal time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

**Preferred Capabilities:**

* Readiness to acquire other state pharmacy licenses if necessary.
* Knowledge of insurance plans.
* Knowledge of PC operating systems, including Radio, Commitment, and Plus.
* Essential level expertise in Microsoft Excel (e.g., opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste, and save capabilities, adjusting text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a chart, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting margins, selecting page orientation, using spell check or printing worksheets).
* Essential level expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint (e.g., inserting, modifying, saving, and deleting slides, navigating between slides, expanding outline level, adding, focusing, and altering text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving items, printing slide view or running a slide show).
* Essential level expertise in Microsoft Word (e.g., opening a document, cutting, pasting, and adjusting text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and paragraph width, formatting, inserting images, pictures, and dates, using find and replace, fix, spell check, track changes, review sheet or printing capabilities).
