**Job Description**
As a Chat Moderator at careerzynith, you'll be responsible for ensuring our Discord community adheres to our rules and guidelines. This part-time, remote position requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and a commitment to upholding our community standards. Your primary duties will include:
* **Moderating the chat**: Reviewing and deleting messages that violate our community rules, including but not limited to:
+ Profanity or hate speech
+ Spam or self-promotion
+ Harassment or bullying
+ Infringing on others' intellectual property
* **Enforcing community guidelines**: Banning users who repeatedly violate our rules, muting users who have violated the rules, and investigating reports made by users about rule violations
* **Collaborating with the community**: Working closely with users to resolve conflicts, answer questions, and provide guidance on community policies
* **Staying up-to-date with community policies**: Regularly reviewing and updating your knowledge of careerzynith's community guidelines and Discord server settings
**Pay and Benefits**
As a valued member of our remote team, you'll enjoy:
* **Competitive hourly rate**: $12.50 per hour
* **Weekly pay cycle**: Payments will be made every Monday, covering work completed from the previous week (Sunday to Sunday)
* **Flexible scheduling**: Work at your own pace, with the flexibility to choose your own hours within our designated schedule
**Qualifications**
To succeed as a Chat Moderator at careerzynith, you'll need:
* **Age requirement**: Be at least 18 years old
* **Education**: Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
* **Strong communication skills**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with users from diverse backgrounds
* **Conflict resolution skills**: Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, with a focus on resolving conflicts in a fair and respectful manner
* **Technical skills**: Familiarity with Discord and its moderation tools, as well as basic computer skills (e.g., typing, browsing the internet)
