Key Responsibilities:
Process patient enrollment and data entry tasks using arenaflex's systems and guidelines
Handle patient medication requests, including refills and transfers, in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Investigate and resolve missing prescription data, deciphering medical abbreviations (SIG codes) as needed
Resolve third-party rejections by reviewing, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing
Communicate with patients, prescribers, and other stakeholders via phone, email, or messaging, providing excellent customer service and support
Collaborate with pharmacists and other team members to resolve issues and provide assistance as needed
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills, including starting and shutting down a computer, using a mouse, and navigating programs
Basic internet search skills, including opening a browser, typing URLs, and using a search engine
Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, organizing documents)
Effective written and verbal communication skills
At least 18 years old
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following preferred qualifications will make you a stronger candidate for this role:
At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or call center environment
Certification or registration as a pharmacy technician by the state or a nationally recognized certification agency
Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction
Intermediate to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, organizing documents)
Fluency in Spanish and English
