As a representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, explaining complex medical bills, and working with patients to develop affordable payment plans. You'll also be responsible for accurately documenting all calls and follow-ups in our software systems. **Responsibilities** * Provide exceptional customer service to patients over the phone, responding to their inquiries and resolving their concerns in a timely and professional manner * Explain complex medical bills to patients, providing empathy and understanding while ensuring they understand their financial obligations * Work with patients to develop affordable payment plans, taking payments by phone and ensuring timely payment of medical bills * Accurately document all calls and follow-ups in our software systems, ensuring that all patient interactions are properly recorded and tracked * Collaborate with teammates to support and help fellow representatives, ensuring that our team is working together to achieve our goals * Continuously improve your skills and knowledge, with supportive coaching and feedback from your manager and team leads * Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on the latest medical billing and customer service best practices **Requirements** * Must be a resident of Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, or Texas (arenaflex cannot hire candidates who reside outside of these states, regardless of remote opportunities) * High school diploma or equivalent required * Network speeds with a minimum of 50 mbps download and 15 upload (you can use www.speedtest.net to test this out) * Call center experience preferred * Demonstrated history of good retention * Healthcare billing experience preferred * Prior work from home experience preferred * Basic technical savviness skills with the ability to learn multiple Electronic Medical Records, software programs, payment portals, and call programs in a fast-paced environment **Preferred Qualifications** * Bilingual in English and Spanish (or other languages) * Experience working in a medical billing or customer service environment * Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines **What We Offer** * Competitive base pay, ranging from $31,200 to $41,600 per year, depending on experience * Monthly performance bonuses averaging $100-$400+ a month ($1,200-$4,800+ annually) * Comprehensive benefits package, including: + 401(k) and 401(k) matching + Dental insurance + Employee assistance program + Employee discount + Health insurance + Health savings account + Life insurance + Paid time off + Referral program + Retirement plan + Tuition reimbursement + Vision insurance * Opportunity to work from home or in our Aurora office location * Stable base pay, plus monthly performance bonus opportunities * We promote from within!
