Position Overview
The Bilingual Customer Service Representative will be responsible for receiving inbound calls from child support client stakeholders, categorizing calls, and recording any abusive and/or extraordinary calls. The ideal candidate will possess strong oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a general understanding of policies and procedures. As a remote worker, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with a quiet and distraction-free workspace, reliable high-speed internet connection, and a smartphone for user authentication.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and respond to inbound calls from child support client stakeholders in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and contractual obligations
Categorize all calls received in one of the categories provided
Record any abusive and/or extraordinary calls
Maintain a general understanding of policies and procedures
Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy
Perform other duties as assigned
Essential Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must:
Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
Have at least one year of prior experience in an area of service delivery, customer service, call center technology, or related field
Be proficient in data entry skills, including keyboard, mouse, and 10-key pad
Be able to type a minimum of 35 WPM (a typing test will be administered during the interview process)
Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
Be fluent in English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment
Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment
Experience with remote work or virtual teams
