**Key Responsibilities:**
As a Behavioral Health Customer Service Representative at careerzynith, you will be responsible for:
* Engaging with members to understand their health needs, concerns, and goals
* Reviewing member claim history for accuracy and completeness
* Explaining member rights and responsibilities, including benefits and claims processes
* Building trusting relationships with members through active listening, empathy, and effective communication
* Performing financial data maintenance, including updating member records and processing claims
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve member issues and concerns
* Staying up-to-date on industry developments, policies, and procedures to provide informed support to members
**Requirements:**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or behavioral health setting
* High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
* Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Previous experience in behavioral health, medical, or insurance settings
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as psychology, social work, or healthcare administration
* Certification in a related field, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Behavioral Health Specialist (CBHS)
