As a key member of our Learning team, you will collaborate with Educational Originators to design and develop high-quality training content, modules, and courses that drive business success. Key Responsibilities Content Development: Identify, curate, and gather data given project needs, and create storyboards and develop error-free educational material in various formats (50% of the time). Subject Matter Expertise: Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to gather required work and assignment data (20% of the time). Elearning Development: Utilize standard eLearning development tools and software, such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate, to create high-quality learning content (10% of the time). Project Communication: Proactively communicate project and task status to client groups and management (10% of the time). Quality Assurance: Review and revise material against accepted The Home Depot standards for quality (10% of the time). Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should possess: A minimum of 2 years of experience in instructional design or a related field. A strong understanding of educational curricula and adult learning theories. Proficiency with software, including Microsoft Office. Essential knowledge of standard eLearning development tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications To stand out as a candidate, you should have: A formal learning degree or certification in Curriculum, Adult Learning, Visual Communication, or a related field. Experience with photo-editing software, such as Photoshop or GIMP. Experience using SharePoint. Experience working with video creation software, such as Camtasia or Adobe Premiere Pro.
