In this entry-level position, you will play a crucial role in making sure our customers' baggage and cargo arrive safely and on time. How You'll Help Us Keep Climbing As a Ramp Agent, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that require a strong and diverse skillset. Your daily tasks will include safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft. You will also be responsible for guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions, ensuring timely connections. Additionally, you will operate ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion, and operate baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage is routed accurately to the customer's destination. Key Responsibilities: Safely lift, load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft Guide incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions, ensuring timely connections Operate ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion Operate baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage is routed accurately to the customer's destination Safeguard cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing safety and security of self, others, and personal data What We Offer At Delta, we offer a competitive salary, industry-leading profit sharing program, and performance incentives. You will also need to have a valid driver's license, proficiency in English, and pass a physical ability test (PAT). Additionally, you will need to wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal.
