Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced and customer-focused Airport Customer Service Agent to join our team at Ontario International Airport. As a frontline representative for arenaflex, you'll be the first point of contact for our passengers, providing them with exceptional service, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring a seamless travel experience. Responsibilities

As an Airport Customer Service Agent with arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:


Assisting passengers with their baggage pick-up, resolving issues with delayed, lost, or damaged items, and utilizing computer software to track and catalog luggage.
Handling customer interactions with class, efficiency, and professionalism, ensuring that every passenger feels valued and respected.
Performing other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.
Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and moving items of 70 pounds and/or more regularly, and repetitively lifting weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces.


Basic Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following basic qualifications:


Be a local (in-state) resident.
Hold a High School diploma or GED.
Have a valid In-State Driver's License.
Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Pass up to a 10-year background check.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Have the authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
Complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.
Be able to carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs.
Be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment.


Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial for success in this role:


Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the aviation industry.
Knowledge of airport operations and procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
