**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Accounting / Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Clearwater, FL. As a key member of our accounting team, you'll be responsible for heavy data entry, customer service, and other administrative tasks. **Key Responsibilities**
* Verify information and enter data into our in-house system with accuracy and efficiency
* Process account information, customer information, and various documents by resolving inconsistencies and reviewing data for errors using standard data entry procedures
* Ensure orders have been paid and confirm orders to maintain accurate records
* Process customer account information accurately and efficiently
* Check completed work for errors or duplicate information before submitting the final product
* Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed to support the accounting team
**Requirements**
* Must be detail-oriented and have excellent organizational skills
* Must have a degree or be working towards an accounting degree from an accredited educational institution
* Proficiency in key boarding and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Ability to prepare alphabetical orders and collate documents accurately
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Previous experience in accounting or data entry
* Familiarity with accounting software and systems
