WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Ā Manage bank account & credit card fees, prepare journal entries, and reconcile accounts in online
Ā accounting software
Ā Enter account transactions and reconcile balance sheet accounts
Ā Prepare payroll
Ā Maintain client documents in a paperless environment
Ā Update information for tax preparation and reconciliation
Ā Other duties as required
TOOLS NEEDED:
Ā Home office setup
Ā Computer with webcam
Ā Smartphone with email capabilities and push notifications
Ā High-speed Internet access
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ā 2-plus years of relevant bookkeeping experience
Ā Bachelors in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field or some college
Ā Willingness to learn and follow processes
Ā Self-starter with a positive and friendly attitude
Ā Ability to handle confidential materials discreetly
Ā Willingness to learn new systems
Ā Ability to effectively manage multiple project deadlines
Ā Strong independent and team-based problem solving
Ā Excellent organization skills
Ā Strong communication skills
Ā Comfortable working in a paperless environment
Ā Comprehensive understanding of double-entry accounting and able to prepare journal entries as needed
