Duties
• Collaborate with clients to understand their event goals, themes, and budgets, ensuring all planning aligns with their vision.
• Develop comprehensive event plans covering logistics, catering, entertainment, decor, and guest services to guarantee seamless execution.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors including caterers, decorators, entertainment providers, and venue managers to secure the best terms.
• Coordinate event marketing efforts to promote the event through social media, email campaigns, and community outreach.
• Manage budgets meticulously, tracking expenses and identifying opportunities for upselling additional services or upgrades.
• Oversee event setup and breakdown, supervising staff and vendors to maintain high standards of service and safety.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere throughout the event.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback for continuous improvement and future success.

Requirements
• Proven experience in event planning or management within retail, hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or banquet settings.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable contracts and vendor agreements.
• Excellent marketing abilities to effectively promote events and increase attendance.
• Skilled in upselling additional services such as catering upgrades or premium packages to maximize revenue.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Outstanding communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, staff, and guests confidently and professionally.
• Knowledge of event marketing strategies, budgeting procedures, and contract management practices.
• Experience in banquet operations or catering services is highly desirable.
