Qualifications & Desired Experience:
• Valid teaching certification with ESL endorsement or equivalent credential
• Experience working as either a General Education Teacher or ESL Teacher
• Strong understanding of second language acquisition and culturally responsive teaching
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills
• Experience differentiating instruction based on language proficiency levels
• Ability to create supportive classroom environments that promote language development and student engagement

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide targeted instruction to English language learners, supporting their acquisition of both academic and social English
• Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to students’ linguistic and academic needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to adapt curriculum and assessments
• Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and resources to maximize learning outcomes
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
• Facilitate a welcoming, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and celebrates multiculturalism
