ERP Automation & AI Engineer (m/w/d)

Remote Full-time
Your responsibilities We are looking for a visionary engineer with an “Automation First” mindset who rethinks our core processes and makes our system ecosystem smarter. You are the right fit for us if you are an architect of resilient, data-driven systems who chooses the best technology for every problem – from robust scripts to smart AI agents. This is a fully remote position; however, we are only considering candidates based in Germany or the United Kingdom. Analyze our central value streams (e.g. Purchase-to-Pay), develop the automation roadmap, and deliver measurable business impact (e.g. reduction of cycle times & error rates) Build predictive monitoring and “self-healing” mechanisms for our critical interfaces to resolve issues before they arise Develop systems for the automatic analysis and resolution of support tickets, thereby reducing the manual workload within the team Build reusable automation services and make them available company-wide via our internal AI platform (ChatAPV) Act as the technical sparring partner for business departments and product owners to unlock automation potential across the entire organization Your profile You live “Automation First” and “Systems Thinking.” You identify the true root cause of problems and develop sustainable, systemic solutions You bring solid experience in software development (ideally Python, SQL) and in working with complex ERP landscapes (e.g. Odoo) You have hands-on experience with workflow tools (e.g. n8n) and ideally initial exposure to applying LLM APIs or ML to solve business problems You work according to the “You Build It, You Run It” principle and take end-to-end responsibility for your solutions You can clearly communicate complex technical topics and act as a bridge between tech and business What we offer Responsible, exciting, and varied tasks with plenty of creative freedom in a dynamic company that values flat hierarchies and an open, informal work culture where everyone is on a first-name basis A friendly, open team of around 340 employees located in Munich, Leipzig, and Albourne (UK) — plus several lovely office dogs at our sites Flexible working hours based on trust, home-office options including financial support for your equipment, and the possibility to work abroad for several months 28 days of paid vacation, plus up to 20 additional unpaid leave days and special leave options Various internal and external training opportunities you can choose according to your interests Attractive employee discounts — for both humans and pets! Regular team, company, and family & friends events Need a break? Relax in our social area equipped with a foosball table, or challenge your colleagues to a Mario Kart match (or another Nintendo Switch game) on our comfy lounge sofa! Don’t like reheated meals? Don’t want to wait for delivery? Use our fully equipped, high-quality office kitchen to cook your own meals or bake something delicious! Enjoy free coffee, cocoa, tea, and a variety of cold drinks (water, juices, soft drinks), as well as fresh fruit, snacks, and a fully stocked candy drawer EGYM Wellpass membership: With our subsidized EGYM Wellpass membership, you get access to thousands of sports and wellness facilities – including gyms, swimming pools, climbing gyms, yoga and Pilates studios, and many more. This allows you to stay active and support your well-being flexibly and nationwide – in a way that best fits your lifestyle! Many more great benefits that we’ll be happy to share with you during the recruitment process! Interested ? We look forward to receiving your application — including your cover letter, CV, your earliest possible start date, and your salary expectations.
