Epic Clarity Clinical Data Model ETL Developer

This is a remote position. Contract Duration: 6 Months Location: Mostly Remote (1–2 Onsite Visits Possible) Overview We are seeking an experienced Epic Clarity Consultant with a strong background in the Clarity Clinical Data Model to support a high-visibility data integration and reporting initiative. The consultant will be responsible for designing and developing ETL workflows that extract, transform, and load clinical data from the Epic system into downstream environments. Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and optimize ETL pipelines that extract clinical data from Epic Clarity. • Translate clinical reporting requirements into scalable data structures and workflows. • Work directly with technical and operational stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure data accuracy. • Document data mappings, transformation logic, workflows, and processes. • Support data analysts, application teams, and reporting teams with Clarity subject-matter expertise. • Troubleshoot data integration issues and ensure data integrity throughout the ETL lifecycle. Engagement Details • 6-month contract, with potential for extension based on project needs. • Primarily remote, with possible 1–2 onsite visits for key meetings or workshops. • Flexible start date; interviews conducted immediately. Requirements Required Qualifications Epic Clarity Certification (Clinical focus strongly preferred). Deep understanding of the Epic Clarity Clinical Data Model, including tables, relationships, and operational workflows. Hands-on experience creating ETL solutions using SQL, stored procedures, and/or enterprise ETL tools. Strong SQL development and data modeling skills. Ability to interpret clinical workflows and translate them into data logic. Experience working in large enterprise healthcare environments. Preferred Qualifications Epic Bridges Certification or experience with Bridges interfaces. Experience working with FHIR, APIs, or other integration frameworks.
