Entry Level Structural Engineer

They are seeking a talented and motivated Structural Engineer to design and analyze structures, collaborate with professionals, and contribute to innovative projects. Responsibilities Design, analyze, and review structural components and systems for various projects Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to develop innovative solutions Additional responsibilities include calculation development, steel shop drawing reviews, submittal preparation, RFI development and new calculation development to enhance efficiencies Utilize analysis software programs such as Tekla Structural Designer, Excel, Idea Statica, BlueBeam, RISA Suite, Revit and Ram Connection Review 3-D BIM models to aid in building design, connection design and shop drawing reviews Skills Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering EIT certification A firm understanding of relevant building codes, materials, and standards Enthusiasm and desire to succeed and develop technical skills Excellent communication skills are required, both verbal and written Attention to detail, logical problem-solving skills, and strong organizational skills Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines Passion for steel and concrete design and growing professional knowledge and skills in steel and concrete construction Diploma/Certificate American Citizenship/Legally able to work in the United States of America Master's degree in civil or structural engineering is a plus Software skills with any of the following are a plus: Tekla Structural Designer, Excel, Idea Statica, BlueBeam, RISA Suite, Revit and Ram Connection Benefits Flexible Work Schedule Paid Parental Leave Tuition Assistance Health and Wellness Generous Time Off Company Retreats Relocation Assistance Professional Growth Company Overview Apex Structural Engineering is dedicated to delivering innovative, high-quality structural design services for the construction industry.
