Entry-level Structural Engineer

The Entry-Level Structural Engineer will build analytic and design skills while conducting engineering design and creating various engineering documents under supervision. Responsibilities Builds analytic and design skills Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision Skills Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering concentration or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Due to the nature of the work, must be a United States Citizen Engineer in Training (EIT) certification Master's degree with a Structural Engineering concentration Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel Structural problem analysis skills (including knowledge/use of design and calculation tools, software) Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with clients in a professional manner Strong organizational and analytical skills Available for periodic travel Relevant intern/co-op/work experience Academic classes, projects or experience through internships or work that include design experience with concrete, steel, wood, masonry, and/or foundations Exposure to Revit is a plus Benefits Medical Dental Vision Life AD&D Disability benefits Paid time off Leaves of absences Voluntary benefits Perks Flexible work options Well-being resources Employee assistance program Business travel insurance Service recognition awards Retirement savings plan Employee stock purchase plan Company Overview AECOM is a global provider of professional technical and management support services to a broad range of markets.
