Entry Level Part-time Accountant

They are seeking a Part-time Accounting Manager responsible for preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and supporting financial statement preparation for not-for-profit entities. Responsibilities Prepare and record various journal entries to the general ledger for membership based not-for-profit entities Prepare month-end membership revenue reconciliations Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and analysis for accounts Review the results of client events and make necessary accounting entries Investigate and report on variances in budget Plan, coordinate and/or lead assigned month-end reviews Complete monthly, quarterly and year-end close responsibilities Support Finance Director in external audit Use technology including Word, Excel, Outlook, QuickBooks Online as well as Association Management Software MemberClicks Skills Undergraduate degree in Accounting with 1-2 years of experience in similar position Skills and experience working with Microsoft Excel, including V-lookups, pivot tables, etc Highly motivated, flexible, quality focused, team player with strong organizational skills who can maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines Must have strong communication, customer service skills Strong analytical skills Self-starter, energetic, enthusiastic and customer service focused Able to create and maintain strong relationships with volunteer leaders Interested in learning and advancing career Company Overview AMC Source is a full-service association management firm that provides business consulting and corporate management services.
