Responsibilities & Duties:
ā¢ Customer Excellence: Provide fast, friendly service while demonstrating Kroger's core values of respect, honesty, and integrity.
ā¢ Front End Operations: Support the Service Operations Manager in maintaining Front End (FE) policies and procedures.
ā¢ Accurate Transaction Execution: Successfully executing customer sales transactions using POS terminals, managing various payment channels like cash, credit cards, and digital payment solutions.
ā¢ Performance Guidelines: Uphold top-tier performance standards for cashiers and assist in labor control and queue supervision.
ā¢ Safety & Compliance: Assure a secure, spotless, and welcoming shopping ambiance for all individuals visiting the store.
Qualifications & Skills:
ā¢ This vacancy is designed for individuals who are starting their career path and do not yet possess any Experience, as it is an Entry-Level role.
ā¢ While it is suggested to possess a high school diploma or GED, this is not a compulsory credential for the role.
ā¢ A positive attitude and strong verbal communication skills are important factors in successful interactions.
ā¢ Applicants must possess the ability to stand for prolonged periods and complete repetitive lifting tasks (up to 25 lbs).
ā¢ Flexibility in scheduling is paramount, including the ability to work on nights, weekends, and holidays.
